Contractors lose programme to material gaps far more often than to labour. We buy against the bill of quantities, hold the consignment, and release it to site on the dates the programme calls for — so the site carries schedule, not inventory. Because the same company clears and trucks the goods, a slipped vessel is absorbed in our planning rather than surfacing as a stoppage.
